The story was a twist on your typical Christian romance. I loved the coast of Georgia setting. The author is gifted and has a wider vocabulary than most writers of the genre. The Christian element was appreciated as was the frequent use of Scripture. The music theme was really cool. The redundancy of the main character's thought processes was just way over the top. Too much mental rehashing to the point of annoyance for me--plus it made the book longer than it needed to be. There were a few typos near the end of the book but not enough to distract too much. Some to the comments directed to the main male character we really out of bounds ("idiot"?) and no one was called on it. Supposedly it was because it was said in jest but as a brother in Christ that kind of language is not edifying on any level. Like many young men raised without a father, he lacked the opportunity to learn from a good role model. The harsh language directed toward him was inexcusable. Overall I would recommend this book as the storyline was unique and the characters compelling and real.Product details

This was an interesting and easy to read sorry. It has romance,elements of speciation and a good use of bible passages.
One of the best Christian romances I've read lately.
I loved the book! Very realistic and with a lot of message within. The romance is clean and sweet. I loved It!
Story line was a bit predictable, and there were several places that needed to be edited (misspellings). However, I did enjoy the characters.
The is the best written Christian romance I have ever read. The way the story developed was great, and Biblical lessons are woven through it in a marvelous way!!
With some better editing, this book has the potential to be top-notch. There were some spelling errors and typos, but what bothered me more were numerous little inconsistencies that really should have been caught before publication. Timeline issues, repetition, contradictory facts, incomplete information, etc. unfortunately detracted from what was a unique story with some compelling characters. (Note to author - I noted several of the issues, if you’re interested in making changes!) My other main complaint with the story was the constant preaching. I love Christian romances, because they’re clean and because I’m a Christian. I don’t need to be hit over the head repeatedly with the Gospel, and if I wasn’t Christian I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t make me change my mind.
I apologize to the author. I can't really even remember this novel's details nor characters, except they were young. And I read it fairly recently. It was for young people. I clearly remember thinking it wasn't well-written and clearly remember being disappointed at myself that I even finished it. While I remember it being clean and certainly God honoring from a morality perspective, I thought it simplistic and banal. I almost rated it 1 star due to feeling my time utterly wasted. But I recall it did have a modicum of simple sweetness. For this and because, simply, I don't like to offend when I can't even remember the story, I rated it a 2. Keep in mind I JUST RECENTLY read it. It was completely forgettable, obviously. Unless it's free, you are rich and can waste time, try doing something more profitable. I'm sorry I didn't heed my own internal warning at about 50 percent through to stop.
